At Pittsburg Performing Arts Academy, we focus on providing a safe, fun and inclusive atmosphere for our students. Our instructors are highly experienced and passionate about dance, and they strive to create a positive learning environment. We offer a variety of classes, ranging from ballet, jazz and hip hop, to modern and contemporary dance.

Our Story

Pittsburg Performing Arts Academy is a woman-owned dance studio located in the heart of Old Town Pittsburg, California. Sharon Sobel Idul, owner and director bought Delta Ballet Academy in 2007 in Antioch from her mentor and childhood ballet instructor, Ms. Helga Ishikata. In 2014, Sharon relocated the academy to Old Town Pittsburg, renamed the studio and expanded the offerings to music and more.

We offer classes in a wide range of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, Baile Folklórico, hip hop, acro, and more! Our experienced instructors are committed to helping our students grow, from beginner to professional dancer. We look forward to seeing you in the studio!
